Conversation has certainly sparked over the last year with the loss of so many greats to suicide. It’s something we don’t talk about enough, and these dark thoughts affect more people than we realize. I even had these dark thoughts once myself. To continue to bring light to this issue, I will be attempting Vinson Massif at the end of 2019 in support of the Life is Priceless Foundation. We only live once, and climbing the highest point in Antarctica is a once in a lifetime experience.
Life is Priceless was founded by a friend, Tim Price, after losing his brother to suicide in 2011. Since then Tim has dedicated himself to supporting the research and treatment of depression and suicide prevention through grants to the medical community, financial assistance for those that play a role in suicide prevention, and education, guidance and coping skills to sufferers, families and friends troubled by suicidal thoughts.
